80/20 rule
- First of all we can see that following the 80/20 rule, our VIP Points will always grow.
- 75/25 rule will always grow at 1.5% but if we were following the 80/20 rule, at day 335 not only we would have made more money but our VIP Points would be higher.
- The red squares show that after around 150 days our VIP Points will start to decline. They also show that after around 350 days, the 80/20 rule would have made us more money.
- From this chart we learn that by following the 80/20 rule, our VIP Points will always grow and because they grow faster with 80% Bid Repurchase we will make more money as well.
- Setting Bid Repurchase level to less than 80% for a long period of time will harm our VIP Points growth and make us less money.
Should I start with 100% Bid Repurchase and later on switch to 80/20 rule or can I start from the very beginning using the 80/20 rule?
